First Day of PreSchool

Mckayla on her first day of PreSchool...
She is getting so big, and looks so grown up.

She is so excited to be in preschool with two of her favorite people! Three cousins in one class...

She has absolutely loves her first 2 days of school, she has learned about circles, and the color yellow, and the alphabet and she has been practicing writing her name. She asks every day if she can go to school again, I hope that she continues in her love of learning.

I haven't Blogged all year, no excuses, but here come some updates...

Lagoon! It's what fun is...

Lagoon Trip

Ma' Julie Came for a visit at the end of July and we took a day trip up to Lagoon.

Kayla had so much fun she has been asking when we can go again ever since.

She started with the tug boats, my personal favorite as a kid

She made new friends on every ride she is such a social butterfly!

She didn't love the drop your tummy rides so much.

She was scared of the ferris wheel but once we got on, she loved it!

She got Uncle Mike & Ma Julie to ride the carosel like 5 times...

She Finally got to ride on the baby swan...

She took MaJulie on Dinosaur Drop...

And took Daddy on the swings...

We had such a fun time! Thanks Uncle Mike & Grandma Julie!

Merry Christmas

I tried all day to upload video of Kayla opening presents...but with my sorry excuse for internet it did not work. But, we want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas we are so blessed with wonderful friends and family as well as the abundance of gifts this year. We enjoyed spending time together and just enjoying this seosn. We will try the pictures and videos again at a later time.

The kids were troopers! It was pouring rain so we waited it out and then went...They didn't want to stop and they got TONZ of candy!

Baby Powder Fun

We had our friends, Brady & Colette and their kids Hyrum and Bell, over to play games on Friday night. The adults (and Baby Bell) were in the living room and Kayla and Hyrum were in the guest room watching a movie. The kids were laughing and laughing...we thought we better check on them and this is what we found....

They had so much fun...and used up an entire bottle of baby powder in the process.

Big Girl Bed!

About a month ago (January 8th to be exact) we moved kayla from crib to a big girl bed...

which makes her mom kinda sad, and her really happy!

She was so excited, she jumped on it and climbed in and out for quite some time.

Overall she has done really well with the transition, although she does get out at night occasionally, like when she is sure that there are monsters in her room, but my room must be safe. :)

Mckayla convinced her cousin Tyler to give her rides in a tub last Sunday...In fact she convinced a few of her cousins to give her rides...She is pretty spoiled and she loves her cousins!

Here are a few pics of her eating a cheese stick and watching TV, the only time I could get her to sit still the other day..check out those pigtails! We are finally getting some hair!
