Halloween 2009

We had such a fun Halloween :) Mckayla was a little BumbleBee and she LOVED her costume! Mack came over and went Trick-or-Treating with us and they were just too cute! Here a a couple of pictures

House Update (Sorry Way too many pics!)

September 28th: Gravel ready to pur cement

Also, plumbing is "roughed in"
September 30th (i think) Bathtubs are installed :)

October 1st : Cement is poured & roof begins

October 2nd : Electrical is "roughed in" and more work on the roof

October 5th : our pretty windows came :)

October 6th-8th I forgot our camera, but our heating was roughed in, we had our framing inspection, and our insulation went in.

October 9th : sheetrock went up.

October 12th : our soffit, fascia and trim started

October 13th : our walls were mud & taped

soffit & fascia finished

October 13th : Stucco base is started

I apologize for all the pictures, I will try to do weekly updates for the rest of this house building process!

Tuesday Sept 22nd : Let the framing begin! Exterior walls of house completed.

Happy 2nd Birthday Mckayla!

I can't believe that my baby girl is two! Here is the beginning of her birthday, she is napping now, and there will be more to follow, but here are a few birthday morning pictures to get us started!

She LOVES balloons, so this was fun for her.

Lots of pictures of her Handy Manny Birthday cake. I made this and I am very proud of it, I think that it turned out great. The only problem is that she wants to play with Manny and the tools and I won't let her until after we do cake and ice cream this afternoon.

We started the day at the American Fork Steel days parade, with Mack, Brent, Kellie, and Grandma and Grandpa Holley. We had lots of fun and a nice place to sit in the shade.

Mckayla's new Hobby

So I know that I have been MIA for awhile now, we've been a little crazy. The short of it is we have sold our condo and moved in with Craig's parents while we build a house. I'm sure there will be more updates and pictures on that as the process comes along, but I just wanted to share some pictures. Craig's mom has a piano downstairs and Mckayla's new favorite thing is to "play the piano" she asks all the time, it is super cute. The other night I turned around and she was teaching Bear (her best buddy that she takes everywhere) to play the piano.

Mom, this is for you. I wanted to show you how great her knees are working now.

My little break dancer, this was so funny, I was watching an episode of Ellen last night and there was a little boy who was break dancing to the song bust a move and Kayla decided to copy him. She made me rewind it 4 times to dance with him. This was like the 4th time so she was a little tired, but it is still hilarious. Craig and I were laughing so hard that we could barely tape it. :)
